Alastair Hammond
Chief Executive Officer

Alastair has over 25 years’ experience in evaluating and delivering large, complex projects across a range of technical disciplines. For the past 15 years he has been responsible for the contracting, construction and operations of over 200MW of wind and solar PV across Central and South Eastern Europe. Based in Prague, he is primarily responsible for the operations of Rezolv, with an immediate focus on contract negotiation and overseeing the construction of our pipeline of projects.

In a previous role as Managing Consultant in PA Consulting Group’s Strategy & Marketing practice, Alastair was responsible for evaluating financial viability, financing proposals and managing negotiations for a number of large UK Government Private Finance Initiative projects.

Alastair has a degree in Chemistry and spent his early career as an Officer in the Royal Navy.

Magda Nelešovská
Chief Financial Officer

Magda has nearly 20 years’ experience in finance, accounting, M&A, funds and asset management.

Magda has been working in the renewable energy sector since 2011, when she joined Enercap Capital Partners. As the Finance Director of Enercap, she was responsible for the financial management of the Enercap funds and its investments. She also managed financing, offtake and operations of selected assets.

Prior to Enercap, Magda spent four years at EY, advising large international clients.

Magda has a Master’s degree in Corporate Economics and Management from the University of Economics and Business in Prague, and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Bernard Kiernan
Chief Financial Officer

With almost 25 years of experience in Infrastructure and Energy, Bernard has a proven track record in delivering complex utility-scale projects.

Prior to joining Rezolv, Bernard was Chief Investment Officer with Infinity Power, following Infinity Power’s acquisition of Lekela Power. Bernard played a key role in establishing Lekela Power as Africa’s largest pure-play renewables IPP with over 1GW of projects in operations across South Africa, Egypt and Senegal.

Bernard was also previously Commercial Manager (EMEA) for Mainstream Renewable Power with responsibility for Mainstream’s activities throughout Africa.

Martin Langham
Chief Operating Officer

Martin has more than 25 years’ experience in renewable energy.

Prior to joining Rezolv, Martin was Managing Director at Low Carbon, a European renewable fund manager. Before Low Carbon, he was Managing Director at the Green Investment Bank (GIB). Martin played a key role in launching GIB’s landmark offshore wind fund – the world’s first dedicated offshore wind fund, which represented £1.1 billion (1.7GW) of investment capital.

Martin was also previously Head of Operations for Siemens Wind Power with responsibility for Siemens’ entire European installed base of over 2,500 wind turbines.

Martin was elected a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering & Technology in 2016.

Jennifer Boca
Chief Sustainability Officer

Jennifer has over 20 years’ experience in environmental and social performance oversight, ESG risk management and the running of social impact programmes, with a particular focus on large-scale infrastructure projects and the development financing sector.

Prior to joining Rezolv, Jennifer was the Head of Responsible Investment at Lekela Power, a top-rated ESG performing pan-African renewable energy platform. Prior to Lekela, Jennifer was a Senior Environmental and Social Consultant for various international engineering firms in the UK, including Scott Wilson and URS Corporation, and has worked on major infrastructure projects in various sectors including power, waste management, roads, railways, pipelines and mining.

Jennifer has worked in several countries in Africa, Europe and Asia, and consulted for a wide range of public and private sector clients including the World Bank, Development Finance Institutions, commercial banks and project developers.

Jennifer holds an Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School and a Master’s degree in Environmental Impact Assessment and Management from Oxford Brookes University in the UK.

Marian Pavel
General Manager Romania

Marian has more than 15 years of experience in the development, construction and operation of large-scale renewable energy projects in Southeastern Europe.

At Rezolv, he oversees the company’s 2.1GW portfolio in Romania: the 461MW VIFOR Wind Farm in Buzău County, the 600MW Dunarea East and West Wind Farms in Constanța County, and the 1,044MW Dama Solar project in Arad County.

Marian holds a Master’s Degree in Energetics from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and an Executive MBA from Vienna University of Economics and Business.
