Rezolv Energy Shift is a new platform where ambition meets action, enabling real change.

While Rezolv Energy is building some of the largest renewable energy projects in Europe, Rezolv Energy Shift is where we go further – investing in people and innovation to accelerate a just and inclusive energy transition. From reskilling workers in regions that have been dominated by the coal industry to supporting next-generation clean tech innovators, Rezolv Energy Shift reflects the reality that the energy transition is about far more than simply reducing emissions. It requires a profound societal ‘shift’ which improves the quality of people’s lives and makes sure that no one is left behind.

We are already putting this into action. Our flagship workforce development programme is equipping individuals across Romania and Bulgaria with the technical and soft skills needed to thrive in the clean energy economy. Designed to be scalable and mobile, we are prioritising fossil fuel employees, women and young people – all of whom have been under-served for too long. At the same time, we are supporting the launch of a Nature and Clean Tech Accelerator as a strategic partner and funder to unlock homegrown innovation – supporting early-stage ventures that fuse environmental impact with economic opportunity to help build a more vibrant, resilient clean energy economy across Southeastern Europe.

Rezolv Energy Shift is how we are turning our values – impact, collaboration and inclusion – into reality.

And we invite fellow change-makers to join us. Together, we can power a cleaner, fairer future and shape a legacy of shared prosperity for generations to come.

Skills Development

Skills Academy is a flagship initiative under Rezolv Energy’s Impact Plan. The programme aims to reskill and upskill the workforce in Romania and Bulgaria to meet the demands of the renewable energy transition and ensure that they can thrive in the clean energy economy.

Much of Central and Southeastern Europe faces significant skill gaps in the renewable energy sector, exacerbated by a lack of access to specialised training. As demand for clean energy solutions grows, there is an urgent need to train and re-skill individuals for roles at wind farms and solar parks, creating opportunities for stable and future-proof employment. The Academy addresses this challenge by developing industry-specific technical and soft skills, helping stimulate local economic revitalisation. By investing in people in this way, Rezolv Energy is helping build the foundations for long-term regional resilience.

Skills Academy training is delivered through a hybrid model that combines hands-on, site-based instruction with digital learning, supported by a flexible mobile approach that enables the broadest possible participation. Courses include – but are not limited to – internationally accredited GWO (Global Wind Organisation) safety and technical modules, and a Solar Photovoltaic Installer qualification which offers 180 hours of practical and theoretical learning.

The Academy is open to anyone motivated to begin a career in renewable energy, equipping them with the transferable skills they need to secure fulfilling jobs for the rest of their careers.

Building skills for a sustainable future

Delivering technical and soft skills training in key renewable technologies to support an inclusive energy transition.

Nature and clean tech accelerator

Rezolv Energy Shift introduces a new flagship impact programme: the SCION Accelerator, co-developed and delivered in partnership with SCION, a leading Bulgarian NGO with a strong track record in green innovation. The programme is designed to support early-stage teams working at the intersection of ecology, science and scalable technology in Central and Southeastern Europe, with a primary focus on Bulgaria and Romania.

The Accelerator supports Rezolv’s broader impact strategy by investing in ecosystem resilience, innovation and community empowerment as essential components of a just and effective energy transition.

Why this accelerator?

While there is huge talent and entrepreneurial drive in Bulgaria and Romania, nature and climate technology remain under-developed. Both countries face systemic barriers to scaling innovation, such as limited access to capital, fragmented ecosystems and low institutional support.

By catalysing high-impact ideas and helping bring them to market, the SCION Accelerator aims to contribute to a more vibrant and resilient clean energy economy in Bulgaria and Romania.

Accelerating Nature Tech

A 10-week programme turning bold, science-based ideas into investable ventures thatregenerate ecosystems and reshape the future.
